Our vision for the future is: that we will RENEW FAITH, BUILD COMMUNION, AND INSPIRE HOPE!
Our sacred purpose at St. Philip of Jesus Parish is to joyfully live out our Catholic faith in word and deed, which is rooted in Jesus Christ and the Teachings of His Church, so as to welcome all and embrace their spiritual and corporal needs, speak the Truth in love, and lead all people in our community into the promise of Eternal Life through participation in the life of the Church and in the Holy Sacraments.
Committed to Christ and His Church – Faith Formation
Guided by the Holy Spirit we are dedicated to the love of the Father through Jesus Christ. We will faithfully serve and follow the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. We will place special emphasis on good Catechesis for all parish members in order that we proclaim the teachings of our faith in the way we live.
Collaboration and Consultation
Led by our Pastor and parish leaders we will seek wisdom and counsel on all major initiatives impacting the life and ministry of our parish from appropriate consultative groups. We will strive for unity within our community utilizing the gifts and talents of all our parish members.
Good Stewardship – Time, Talent, Treasure
We will model good stewardship, founded on love, generosity of spirit and pastoral care; so the spiritual and corporal gifts entrusted into our responsibility are used to build God’s kingdom.
Our actions and ministries will be rooted in prayer and joyfully carried out with love, zeal, competence, care, and confidence in God’s promise of Salvation.
